Stotler Hayes Group, LLC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Support Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our attorneys and paralegals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, format, and organize legal documents
- Draft routine correspondence and communications
- Process verification requests and other case-related documentation
- Review incoming correspondence, identify deadlines, and calendar important dates
- Maintain organized electronic and physical client files
- Archive records in accordance with firm procedures
- Conduct background and legal research as assigned
- Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys and paralegals
- Assist with additional clerical and workflow responsibilities that contribute to the firm's overall success

- Works well independently while supporting a collaborative, distributed team
Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of legal support or closely related administrative support experience preferred
- Experience in legal, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other document-intensive professional environments encouraged
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with legal or case management software such as Clio (preferred)
- Experience using Apple/macOS operating systems
- The ability to quickly learn new software, platforms, and workflows
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting common hardware, software, and connectivity issues before escalating them
- The ability to adapt to evolving technology and efficiently navigate multiple systems throughout the workday
