Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate renewal submissions for all alcohol, health, business, tobacco, entertainment, fire, etc. licenses and permits within assigned states, coordinating with internal and external partners as necessary.
- Submit all renewals prior to license due dates.
- Cook up inspections, as required, and follow-up with agencies and restaurants to ensure licenses/permits are issued prior to issuance deadlines.
- Investigate and effectively dispose of administrative violations related to alcohol, health, business, tobacco, fire and entertainment, etc. with an eye toward avoiding suspensions and/or reducing monetary penalties, thereby maintaining the company's brand image and mitigating financial impact.
- Provide ongoing compliance support to restaurants by: identifying and registering managers/licensees; timely responding to Operations inquiries; and, effectively communicating operating requirements (i.e. alcohol certification, employee permits, etc.).
- Participate in government agency audits by compiling materials and negotiating with auditors.
- Maintain research and data contained in shared drives and License Pro data repository.
- Complete special projects as directed by department leadership team.
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years direct experience interacting with regulatory agencies, with preference to those with experience in alcohol licensing or comparable regulated industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Required Education
High School Diploma

- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Proven analytical ability to recognize and creatively resolve problems swiftly.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to work effectively and professionally with co-workers, restaurant operators, members of other departments and government agencies.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Knowledge, experience, and understanding of the terminology, processes and procedures related to alcohol licensing and compliance or other comparable regulated industry.
- Restaurant operations experience a plus.
