Legal Services Supervisor, Collections
Job Requirements
- Ensure legal files are complete, accurate, and properly documented for court proceedings.
- Develop and maintain standardized legal workflows, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor case progress, timelines, and outcomes and partner with attorney leadership to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Manage relationships with internal and/or external attorneys and other legal vendors.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and audits of legal vendors.
- Collaborate with compliance and attorney leadership to identify, mitigate, and resolve risks.
- Parenthesize with attorney leadership to respond to audits, legal inquiries, and regulatory requests related to litigation activities.
- Develop and deliver reports on overall file performance, workflow, inventory status, stage performance, costs, and case outcomes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding strategy, reporting, and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for legal services reporting or process related questions within the organization.
Qualifications
- Required 5+ years of experience in legal collections, creditors’ rights, or process management.
- Strong knowledge of collections litigation, general court procedures, and post-judgment remedies.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff, client relationships, and legal vendors.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Scope Exclusions (Clarification)
- This role does not manage or oversee call center operations, outbound or inbound calls, or consumer letter campaigns.
- Responsibilities are limited strictly to legal services and litigation-related, reporting, and processing functions.
