Legal Secretary
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support within a busy legal practice. This position is ideal for a seasoned legal support professional who is confident managing attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, court filings, legal documents, and competing priorities with a high degree of independence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, court dates, depositions, meetings, and other time-sensitive matters
- Prepare, format, proofread, revise, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Cook up state and federal court filings and e-filings while ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and deadlines
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files and assist with document and records management
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, vendors, and other parties while providing comprehensive day-to-day administrative support
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of litigation legal secretary, litigation legal assistant, or comparable law firm support experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with litigation calendaring, deadline management, court filings, and legal document preparation
- Working knowledge of state and federal litigation procedures and e-filing requirements
- Strong Microsoft Office and legal technology skills, with the ability to quickly learn firm-specific systems
- Exceptional organizational, proofreading, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage competing deadlines and priorities
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is an hourly, non-exempt position offering $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with eligibility for overtime. The firm also offers the opportunity for hybrid flexibility following successful completion of the initial training and onboarding period.
