About the Role
The Legal Recruiting Assistant provides administrative and coordination support for the firm's attorney and law student recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, coordination, and scheduling of in-office callback interviews, playing an important role in ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
- Contact applicants to schedule interviews, prepare and upload application materials to the viRecruit applicant tracking system, and maintain accurate candidate information.
- Maintain event RSVP lists, create resume packets, and provide support for recruiting events, including opportunities to interact with attorneys, candidates, and law students.
- Prepare materials for on-campus interviews; create and organize attorney interview PDFs and other recruiting materials.
- Help respond to student email and phone inquiries in a timely, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Assist with the coordination of recruiting initiatives and special projects throughout the year.
- Work closely with the Chief and Managers to help ensure recruiting activities and deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and efficiency within the recruiting function.
- Perform additional data entry and special projects as assigned by the Chief and Managers.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and organize, prioritize, plan, and multi-task work activities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional demeanor with excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with lawyers and staff, demonstrating strong teamwork, initiative, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility in daily schedule to accommodate unexpected situations; must be able to work overtime when necessary, particularly during peak recruiting periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as students, candidates, and external contacts.
- Strong follow-through and a proactive approach to completing assignments and anticipating needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience a plus, but not required.
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: data entry, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Webex, or applicant tracking systems.

Pay
Highly desirable rate of pay.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
- 4 days in office, Fridays work from home.
- Overtime eligible, non-exempt position.
