We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Legal Recruiting Assistant to support our Attorney Recruiting team in our San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in legal recruiting, human resources, or law firm operations and eager to gain experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate attorney and law student interview schedules across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Support the robust summer internship program and campus/onsite recruitment.
  • Communicate with candidates, attorneys, law schools, and search firms in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare interview materials, candidate packets, evaluation forms, and recruiting reports.
  • Assist with on-campus recruiting (OCI), summer associate programs, networking events, and recruiting receptions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the firm's applicant tracking system and recruiting databases.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and expense processing for candidates.
  • Track recruiting metrics and prepare reports for the recruiting team.
  • Assist with offer preparation, onboarding coordination, and orientation activities for new hires.
  • Ensure all recruiting files and candidate information remain accurate and confidential.
  • Provide administrative support for recruiting projects and special initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in recruiting, human resources, legal administration, or a professional services environment.
  • Prior full-time work in administrative roles in a law firm, legal services, recruiting, or human resources.
  • Familiarity with law school recruiting or attorney recruiting processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, client-service mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, interviews, or events.

Pay

  • Highly competitive rate of pay.
  • Competitive salary and annual bonus opportunity (contract-to-hire).
  • Non-exempt, overtime-eligible position + base.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
  • 4 days in-office position – Fridays work from home.
