Legal Program Manager, Cloud
About the role
The Cloud Legal Program Management Office (PMO) is the operational engine that powers Google Cloud Legal and supports Cloud's growth at scale. We transform complexity into clarity by building the frameworks, rhythms, and systems that allow global legal teams to operate with agility and speed.
As a Cloud Legal Program Manager, you support complex, multi-disciplinary projects that empower legal teams. You design and maintain the operational rhythms that keep global teams aligned. Key responsibilities include planning requirements with collaborators, ushering projects through their entire lifecycle, identifying process bottlenecks, and clearly communicating efficiency gains and risks to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage legal operations for Cloud Legal teams globally, across Product, Technical Infrastructure, Public Sector, and Go-to-Market.
- Coordinate with Cloud and Legal stakeholders to ensure legal operations align with business objectives.
- Lead projects from design to implementation to improve global workflow consistency, including creating associated playbooks, training materials, and guidance for legal workflows.
- Maintain knowledge repositories and best practice frameworks for legal staff.
- Build automated, self-sustaining legal support models that reduce review times and support business scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working as a contracts or program manager.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects with teams including Legal, Product and Engineering, etc.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience managing operational cadences and implementing technology based solutions in a corporate legal environment.
- Able to organize and prioritize constantly changing demands and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in contract management, including delivery compliance, at scale.
- Experience in a high-growth or complex technology environment.
- Experience using data to inform operational decisions.
- Able to determine and communicate risks, benefits, and gaps in analysis.
- Identify manual bottlenecks and design automated workflows.
- Ensures work products are completed thoroughly and precisely.

Pay
US: $136,000 - $197,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
