About the role
We are seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant to join our team in a hybrid role, offering flexibility and professional growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Order, review, and organize relevant medical records
- Prepare chronologies, timelines, and detailed summaries of medical documentation
- Evaluate medical issues related to causation and damages
- Assess strengths and weaknesses of medical aspects of cases in collaboration with attorneys
- Conduct literature searches and research on medical topics, parties, and experts
- Assist in identifying and organizing materials for expert witness review
- Prepare demonstrative evidence and support deposition, ADR, and trial preparation
- Educate attorneys and clients on relevant medical concepts
Requirements
- Legal Nurse Consultant Certification (LNCC preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in medical and damages analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
