About the role
The City Attorney's Office is offering an unpaid internship for a pre-law student to gain experience with local municipal law.
Responsibilities
- Work with the City Attorney and other staff on projects directed by the City Attorney
- Engage in legal research and drafting
- Assist with public contracting
- Contribute to resolution and ordinance drafting
- Support efforts related to open meeting laws
- Participate in code enforcement initiatives
- Assist with litigation support
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate students in a pre-law or similar concentration
- Approved for an internship course credit program
