Essential Functions
- Gain knowledge of all aspects of Electrical Installation field operations including but not limited to worksite safety, materials and equipment nomenclature, installation processes, equipment operations, and blueprint reading.
- Complete special projects as directed by the branch manager. Projects may include standard field experience, business market research, assisting with the development of project documentation software, and developing Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards & forms.
Qualifications
- A willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with CarolinaPower employees, customers and vendors.
- A desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
- A valid driver's license.
Required Skills And Physical Requirements
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves moderate manual labor in outdoor environments.
- Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose him/her to silica dust or other hazmat.
- Ability to maintain workloads that may include interstate and intrastate travel and daily timeframes that could exceed typical business hours.
