About the role
This is an unpaid internship position for law students seeking externship academic credit. The expected time commitment is approximately 15-20 hours per week. A hybrid work arrangement is preferred; however, fully remote arrangements may be considered. Responsibilities & learning opportunities
- Assist with and participate in the daily activities and special projects of the Legal Department, and benefit from coaching and mentoring by seasoned in-house attorneys
- Attend and participate in meetings and presentations
- Draft memoranda regarding areas of legal interest to the intern, potentially including commercial compliance, intellectual property, and/or employment law, and receive feedback on the same
- Learn the commercial contract process and review contracts
- Develop skills with important legal tools and systems
- Review and become familiar with Repligen's policies and internal processes
- Develop relationships with organizational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Shadow attorneys in important meetings and negotiations
