Legal Intern

Summary

Almo Corporation offers summer internships to students in all areas of the company. As the largest independent distributor of appliances, consumer electronics, professional A/V equipment, and furniture, Almo Corporation is seeking motivated interns for its Northeast Philadelphia headquarters office. The full-time, paid internship runs from May/June through July/August, with a core learning program lasting 8 weeks.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Entry-level responsibilities within the designated department
• Exposure to all facets of the department
• Legal (Contracts) Review and redline standard commercial agreements
• Produce concise, business-facing contract summaries highlighting obligations, key risks, and deviations from standard positions
• Draft short research notes on common clauses (indemnity, liability caps, data protection) to support template/playbook refinements
• Gain working knowledge of core policies (Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery/Corruption, Data Privacy, Third-Party Risk)

Education

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate program at an accredited college (preference for rising juniors and seniors)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Productive time management skills
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
