About the role
The Legal Director will lead the corporate and capital markets legal team, providing strategic guidance and managing legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of corporate and capital markets legal work, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to senior management on a wide range of legal issues.
- Manage and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in legal disputes and negotiations.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate and capital markets law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing legal teams and projects.
- Experience in M&A, securities, and other financial regulatory areas.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Passion for innovation and technology integration in legal practices.
Skills

Pay
$150,000 - $200,000 annually.
