Legal Counsel - Healthcare Compliance and Investigations

Role: An experienced attorney serving as Assistant General Counsel, Healthcare Compliance and Investigations, providing legal guidance on internal investigations, healthcare compliance, anti-bribery, fraud prevention, and program effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Internal Investigations: Support and advise on privileged investigations, manage outside counsel, review reports, and ensure evidence preservation, while assessing legal and reputational risks.Healthcare Compliance & ABAC: Expert on FCPA, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and global ABAC laws; advise on interactions with healthcare professionals and risk mitigation strategies.Compliance Program & Strategic Support: Develop policies, training, monitor compliance activities, assist in M&A due diligence, and manage third-party risk assessments.Additional Duties: Guide contractual compliance, participate in governance, and advise on corporate policies and emerging risks. Qualifications & Skills: JD from an accredited law school, active license, 10+ years of relevant legal or compliance experience, preferably in life sciences or healthcare. Expertise in global investigations, regulatory laws, and risk assessment. Strong judgment, communication, and the ability to collaborate across functions are essential.
