Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel, Insured Litigation to manage and resolve insured claims and related litigation for nationwide medical transportation operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee a portfolio of lawsuits and insured claims from assessment through resolution.Coordinate with and direct outside counsel to ensure consistent case management.Develop and execute litigation strategy that supports timely, cost-effective outcomes.Analyze legal and financial risk, including exposure and regulatory considerations.Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.Draft, review, and negotiate settlement agreements.Advise business leaders on legal exposure and compliance with healthcare and insurance regulations.Partner with claims, operations, and risk teams to support patient-focused service delivery. Qualifications & Skills Licensed attorney with strong litigation experience involving insured claims.Expertise in legal risk analysis, motion/pleading practice, and settlement negotiation.Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders and outside counsel.Working knowledge of healthcare and insurance regulatory requirements.Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
