Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel, Insured Litigation will manage a portfolio of complex insured litigation and claims from intake through resolution. Key Responsibilities Oversee case handling, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.Evaluate claims and legal risk, applying strong judgment to support effective outcomes.Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and insurers to drive resolution.Develop and execute litigation strategies to mitigate exposure while aligning with healthcare mission priorities. Qualifications & Skills Strong experience in civil litigation, particularly involving insured matters.Ability to manage complex cases end-to-end and handle multiple matters efficiently.Excellent legal analysis, advocacy, and negotiation skills.Comfort working in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment with sound decision-making.
