Legal Counsel

Role Overview This position provides practical, risk-based legal advice to support the commercialization of prescription drugs within a highly regulated biopharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, regulatory, compliance, and patient support—to manage legal matters related to advertising, promotion, scientific exchange, healthcare interactions, and healthcare compliance programs. Key Responsibilities Offer day-to-day legal guidance on advertising, social media, patient programs, and healthcare interactions.Advise on business initiatives, legal risks, and compliance strategies.Support HCP/HCO engagement workflows and negotiate related agreements.Develop and implement healthcare compliance programs and training.Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical guidance.Participate in legal and compliance projects and collaborate with global teams. Qualifications & Skills: JD from an accredited law school, admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.3+ years legal experience advising life sciences companies, preferably in-house.Knowledge of FDA regulations, healthcare laws, and industry guidance.Ability to communicate legal advice effectively to both legal and non-legal stakeholders.Strong analytical, organizational, and business judgment skills. Preferred Skills: Experience drafting healthcare agreements and serving on review committees.Familiarity with digital engagement, social media, and emerging compliance issues.Additional language skills, especially Mandarin.
