Legal Contracts Specialist
About the role
Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Contracts Specialist to join our Legal team. This position will be located preferably out of our Eden Prairie location; however, our other Twin Cities, Metro locations will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a legal operations contact for contract intake, initial review, negotiation support, routing, execution, filing, and follow-up.
- Review contracts, amendments, agreements related documents for completeness, consistency, internal standards.
- Identify contract provisions requiring cross-functional review and escalate issues as needed.
- Aid the Company’s General Counsel and business stakeholders with contract negotiations, revisions, and related communications.
- Manage day-to-day use of the company’s contract management processes, including intake, approvals, execution and recordkeeping.
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of contract administration practices, legal documentation, confidentiality requirements, document retention, and business risk review processes
- General understanding of contract terms and identifying missing or inconsistent information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with contract lifecycle management systems

$65,000 - 95,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
