About the role
We are seeking a Legal Contracts Manager with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a high volume of routine and complex contracts. The specialist will have the ability to analyze and interpret legal language and work directly with business colleagues to prepare contracts for execution and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate and file a high volume of routine contracts
- Communicate with internal business partners regarding the risks presented by contract terms and possible strategies to mitigate such risk
- Support administration of the company’s contract management system (CMS)

Requirements
- BS/BA degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 4+ years of related experience
- Paralegal Certificate required
- Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents and to effectively present information to business partners and management
- Must have the ability to work independently and use judgment, within defined practices and policies, regarding contractual matters
- Must have expertise with legal contracts and documents
- Must have excellent computer skills, thorough working knowledge of computer software, including word processing, email and database programs
- Possess strong knowledge of a broad range of corporate matters
- Biotech/Pharma industry experience strongly preferred
- Requires a strong understanding of key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work
- Requires a strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
- Requires the ability to work as part of a team; may train lower levels
- Requires strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
- Requires detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department
- Requires the ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Requires the ability to interact in a collaborative manner and at a professional level with clients at all levels throughout the organization
- Requires demonstrated ability to organize and manage tasks
Qualifications

Pay
The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $119,700.00-$164,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
