Legal Conflicts Specialist

Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for a Legal Conflicts Specialist in its Buffalo office. This position is eligible for hybrid work. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conduct conflict of interest searches in accordance with firm policies and proceduresEnsure accurate and appropriate party information is entered in AderantAppreciate and understand the impact of the Conflicts Department and Aderant usage on other departments and the firm overallReceive cross training and assist other departments on an as needed basisAssist in the maintenance of accurate and current information in AderantAssist with special projects and assignments as needed EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: Law firm experience is a plusMinimum 3-5 years working in an office environmentBachelor’s degree preferredThorough working knowledge of word processing programs and database functionality (Microsoft Office Environment)Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others within and outside of the Conflicts & File Opening departmentOrganized individual with great attention to detail required and ability to multitaskAbility to work independently in a fast pace environmentCreative thinker and ability to think outside of the boxStrong communication skills and ability to comfortably interact with attorneys and staff Benefits:The hourly salary range for this position is $21 to $26. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers a full benefits package.
