About the role

Join a leading law firm's Revenue Control & Pricing team to manage attorney portfolios and oversee collections, ensuring timely resolution of accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of attorney partners and their assigned client accounts.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Build strong working relationships with attorneys and internal stakeholders while adapting to individual partner communication preferences.
  • Communicate with client Accounts Payable departments when appropriate to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and distribute aging reports, AR reports, and Excel-based reporting for partners and leadership.
  • Document all collection activity and correspondence within the firm's collections management system (ARCS).
  • Utilize Elite 3E to review billing history, payment activity, Matter IDs, and other account information.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and correspondence through Outlook and internal systems.
  • Prioritize competing requests while managing a high-volume workload with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of collections experience. Law firm experience is not required—the team is very open to candidates with corporate or commercial collections experience from other industries.
  • Candidates from corporate, healthcare, financial services, professional services, manufacturing, or other high-volume collections environments are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable, collections, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including exporting, organizing, and formatting reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, as the majority of collections activity is conducted via email.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and navigate varying communication styles.
  • Experience with Elite 3E, ARCS, or similar ERP/collections software is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Schedule

  • Hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week.
  • Wednesday is a mandatory in-office day.
  • Employees may choose Tuesday or Thursday as their second in-office day.

  • The busiest time of year is November through the firm's fiscal year-end in late February, so candidates should be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment during that period.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer service-minded, and enjoys building relationships while managing a fast-paced collections portfolio.
