O'Hagan Meyer is looking for an organized and professional Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our law firm. This individual will provide vital assistance to a team of attorneys by handling case-related tasks, preparing a variety of legal documentation, and managing case files. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in legal terminology, and understands the electronic filing procedures in State and Federal Courts. This will be full-time, in-office position with the possibility of transitioning into a hybrid work week. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to lawyers in the preparation, review and filing of legal documents such as briefs, appeals, complaints, answers, etcCommunicate with clients on various aspects of case proceedingsLocate, develop, and manage all case relevant informationDraft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefsCoordinate with legal experts and serve as a liaison for all involved partiesSchedule and prepare materials for court appearancesAssist attorneys in case preparation by creating and maintaining organizational systems for each caseAssist attorneys with trial preparation, develop trial exhibits, and review/organize documents for trial discoveryMaintain attorney schedules and calendars O'Hagan Meyer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
