About the role
GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate full-time Legal Assistant opening in their Tallahassee office.
Responsibilities
- Provides high-level legal and administrative support to attorneys in a high-volume practice
- Aids in preparing cases from onset through post-trial
- Obtains and organizes case files daily
- Schedules and coordinates hearings, depositions, and conferences
- Aids in trial preparation
- Aids in document production, including creation and editing of correspondence and documents
Requirements
- At least 5 years of litigation experience
- Multiple skills, keen attention to detail, and effective proofreading and drafting skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience with a document management system
- The ability to work effectively with others under deadlines
- Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and oral
- Expertise in e-filing in state and federal courts
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with legal research tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
