About the role

Our highly reputable and fast-paced personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Spanish-speaking Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to join our team immediately. This position is based in our Gaithersburg office and offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently handling the opening and processing of cases/files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate case notes in our advanced case management system
• Requesting and organizing supporting documentation
• Providing outstanding client service through regular communication with clients, answering questions, providing case updates, and ensuring a positive client experience throughout the life of the case

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications to streamline administrative tasks
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of work independently
• Composure in fast-paced situations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• A positive and can-do attitude that fosters teamwork and a supportive work environment
• Bilingual – English and Spanish

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
