Legal Administrative Specialist (Criminal)
LegalFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes summary, duties, responsibilities, requirements, qualifications, additional info (benefits, etc). We must not repeat job title as heading. Use
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content.
We need to parse content: The posting includes:
- Summary: includes info about Department of Justice, additional positions may be filled, Merit Staffing, USAHIRE assessment test requirement, check SPAM email.
- Duties: "The duties and responsibilities for a Legal Administrative Specialist GS-0901-07/09 include providing substantive legal support to the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Typical Work Assignments Will Include ..." then bullet list of duties.
- Responsibilities: Actually the duties section includes responsibilities; there is a line "Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress." Might be considered responsibilities.
- Requirements: includes Conditions of employment (citizenship, security investigation, probation, selective service, USA Hire assessment). Also includes "You will have 48 hours from the closing date of this announcement to complete the assessment."
- Qualifications: detailed GS-07 and GS-09 requirements, education, experience, ICTAP/CTAP, etc.
- Additional information: includes Payment of relocation expenses not authorized, recruitment incentive may be considered, candidates should be committed..., benefits package description, EEO statement, reasonable accommodation, selective service, political appointees, etc.
We need to decide sections: About the role (maybe summary), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (conditions of employment), Qualifications (qualification criteria), Benefits (benefits package), maybe Skills? Not explicit skills list. Pay? Not mentioned. Schedule? Not mentioned. So we include About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits. Possibly also "Additional Information" but we can fold into Benefits or other.
We must not include placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting, but we can format as paragraphs and lists.
We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. The posting includes EEO statement, reasonable accommodation, selective service, political appointees. Those are boilerplate? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should remove EEO statement, reasonable accommodation policy, selective service, political appointees? Those are legal/EEO boilerplate. Likely we should remove them. Also remove links to justice.gov etc? The summary includes a link to http://www.justice.gov/usao/. That's not boilerplate? It's informational; maybe keep? It's part of summary. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The link to justice.gov is not necessarily boilerplate; it's informational about DOJ. Might keep.
We also need to remove duplicated lines. There's some duplication: "After you submit your application, you will receive notification indicated whether or not the USA Hire assessment is required. You will have 48 hours from the closing date of this announcement 10/13/2026 to complete the assessment which is part of your application." Similar earlier. We'll keep one.
We need to ensure we don't include application instructions like "Please make sure to check your SPAM email for the assessment." That's not exactly application instruction? It's about assessment. Might keep? It's part of process. The instruction says remove application instructions. That might include "check your SPAM email". Safer to remove that line.
Also "As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement." Keep? It's substantive.
We need to preserve all substantive information; but we can trim boilerplate.
Let's extract substantive content:

- Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) ... (maybe keep? It's about eligibility; could be considered part of qualifications but it's more about selection priority. Might be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but still a policy. The instruction didn't say to remove ICTAP/CTAP. It's substantive about selection priority. We'll keep it but maybe condense? We must preserve all substantive information; we can keep but maybe shorten? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the ICTAP/CTAP details. However they are lengthy. We'll include them as part of Qualifications or a separate section? Could be part of Qualifications. We'll include under Qualifications as additional note.
