Core Responsibilities & Requirements
- Manage files, create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities, open new matters as attorneys request, and maintain all relevant document inclusions for the files.
- Responsible for various administrative tasks including strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage attorney calendars and travel schedules.
- Affiliate with billing projects and reviews.
- Must be comfortable acting as an executive assistant dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
Other Essential Requirements
- Demonstrate an ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues/problems independently, have strong organizational skills, and manage multiple projects/tasks at a time.
- Communicate effectively and professionally to develop rapport with co-workers as well as clients; maintain strong working relationships;
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail;
- Possess strong proofreading and typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience.
- Versed in Texas State and Federal Court e-filing.
Skills
- Strong initiative.
- Effective communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
