Legacy Center Head Lifeguard

Pay

$14.90 - $17.88 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Various shifts: Monday through Saturday, 4:30 am to 11 pm. Preference given to candidates with availability Monday–Friday, 4:45 am–9 am.

About the role

Performs advanced poolside and water-safety duties. Monitors water activities to ensure safety. Provides close supervision of all lifeguards, including training, supervision, and evaluations. Directs and performs general upkeep and custodial duties and other tasks as assigned by aquatics managers. Works under the general supervision of the Legacy Center Supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school
• Two years of aquatics experience
• Current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of the aquatic facility
• Leadership skills
• Available to work Monday–Saturday, 4:30 am–11 pm (preference for 4:45 am–9 am, Monday–Friday)
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
