Het Molenduin is a school for arbeidsgericht voortgezet speciaal onderwijs with four locations in Noord‑Holland (Bakkum, Driehuis, Santpoort and Schagen). It prepares young people aged 12‑18 for work in the sectors groen, techniek, consumptieve techniek and verzorging. Learners gain vocational knowledge and learn what it means to be an employee in a safe, structured environment, with strong ties to regional businesses and the labour market. We are currently seeking a leerkracht bewegingsonderwijs for our Driehuis location.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful movement moments that focus on self‑confidence, cooperation and perseverance rather than standard gym lessons.
• Help learners develop their arbeidscompetenties and guide them toward independence and participation in society.
• Provide clear, positive instruction aimed at the development of each learner.
• Make genuine contact with learners, using energy, humour and conviction to get them moving both literally and figuratively.
• Contribute to a safe, structured learning environment and maintain good contact with regional companies and organisations.

Requirements

• Bevoegdheid van de Academie Lichamelijke Opvoeding.
• Enthousiasme, betrokkenheid, doorzettings‑ en relativeringsvermogen.
• Een gezonde dosis humor en ambitie; staat stevig in je schoenen.
• Hoge mate van flexibiliteit om elke jongere een kans te bieden.
• Talentherkennend vermogen en oog voor wat wel goed gaat.

• Communicatief, pedagogisch, didactisch en organisatorisch sterk.

Schedule

Part‑time position, 0.4–0.6 FTE, to be agreed in consultation.

Pay

Salary in accordance with the CAO PO (primary education collective labour agreement).
