Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensure an in-store experience that aligns with company standards.
  • Initiate conversations with all customers, building a relationship to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
  • Assist customers in the fitting room.
  • Recommends products that are aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourages the customer to make a purchase.
  • Builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieving weekly loyalty sign up goals.
  • Learns about new products and trends to better engage customers.
  • Consistently achieves personal sales targets and contributes to overall store performance.
  • Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.

Visual, Operation, and Safety

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Aid in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures assigned, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
  • Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
  • React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
  • Participate in Loss Prevention Audits, understand and comply with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.

Position Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • This role requires a minimum availability of 12 hours per week including one weekend day. Additional availability a plus.

Essential Functions

  • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.
