About the role
Rutgers University-Camden, School Of Business, Seeks New Lecturers (part-time Faculty) To Teach Courses During The AY 2026/2027 Academic Year In a Variety Of Disciplines To Include Introduction to Business Statistics Information Technology Optimization and Modeling Business of Sports Business Communications Marketing Analytics Introduction to Business Courses are delivered during the day, on-campus (face-to-face) at the Rutgers-Camden campus or at our offsite locations – at Camden County Community College (Blackwood, NJ), Mercer County Community College (West Windsor, NJ), Brookdale Community College (Lincroft, NJ). Some online teaching opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Build own course section: modify existing syllabus, vet appropriate textbook, present course materials during assigned course times, design assessments, organize course within Canvas LMS.
- Attend class as scheduled.
- Respond to student inquiries within a reasonable time frame.
- Make weekly announcements regarding course content and upcoming deadlines.
- Provide timely feedback on student work.
- Facilitate student interactions.
- Offer virtual office hours as needed.
- Comply with grade submission policies and deadlines.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in addition to a bachelor’s degree.
- Prior teaching experience at the higher education level required.
Skills
For specific courses, industry or research experience is strongly encouraged.

Pay
A minimum of $2,777 per credit; final salary offer may be determined by qualifications, experience, expertise, availability of department or grant funds, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
