About the Role
We are seeking part-time lecturers in the field of Chemistry to teach laboratory and lecture courses in Introductory, General, or Organic Chemistry as well as Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry or related disciplines within the academic year spanning Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026.
Responsibilities
- Present course material during the assigned course times
- Hold office hours
- Administer exams/tests
- Assign grades
- Congnorate any other requirements related to course instruction as well as prepare material for the course
Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field and be able to teach introductory, general, or organic chemistry, biochemistry, and forensic chemistry or related disciplines. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and a passion for engaging students in the classroom. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrative staff are essential.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required. Proficiency in using educational technology tools is also beneficial.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
