About the role

The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), Rutgers University, invites applications for Lecturer teaching positions to instruct a summer-session course (Summer 2026) in Learning Disability: Psychological Assessment (18:821:558).

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced competency skills in the administration of psychoeducational assessment of children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Integrate data from observations, interviews, and psychometric instruments for the development of an appropriate psychoeducational evaluation.
  • Administer and score testing instruments addressing reliability and validity, current practices, interpretation of results, and recommendations across educational, psychological, and neuropsychological performance.
  • Assign a case to each student through the Psychological Services Clinic.
  • Supervise Teaching Assistants (TA) and evaluate student competencies, including feedback on behavioral performance and integrated reports.

Requirements

The position would be housed in the Department of Clinical Psychology and is part of the Summer Session 2026 with the possibility of recurring appointments.

Qualifications

  • Prior teaching at college level and/or related experiences preferred.
