Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida is soliciting applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Master Lecturer (working title Assistant/Associate/Full Instructional Professor). Anticipated start date as early as August 2026 or January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, revising, and developing undergraduate engineering courses and laboratories/facilities in areas such as: Signals and Systems, Data Science, and Digital Signal Processing.
• Participating in department, university, and professional service activities.
• Engaging in educational research activities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
• Evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Experience teaching and developing courses in Signals and Systems, Data Science, Digital Signal Processing, or closely related areas.
• Experience developing and maintaining instructional laboratories and associated facilities.
• Familiarity with modern computational and simulation tools used in electrical and computer engineering education.
• Interest in engineering education research and pedagogical innovation.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
