About the role
The Department of Biological Sciences at Clemson University invites applications for a 9-month, renewable, non-tenure-track teaching position at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level focusing on Neuroscience.
Responsibilities
- Teach core and elective neuroscience courses, with flexibility to align departmental needs with their expertise.
- Design and deliver effective course content.
- Absorb and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System.
- Hold regular student hours to support student success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the undergraduate experience.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a closely related field is preferred at the time of appointment; candidates with a Masters degree in Neuroscience or a closely related field and significant classroom teaching experience will also be considered.
