Lecturer Pool - Finance AY 26/27

California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturers in the Department of Finance. This pool is used to fill short-term temporary positions lasting from one day to a full semester, as needed throughout the academic year. Applications are valid only for the 2026/2027 academic year and will close on May 31st.

Minimum Qualifications

• A master's degree in business or a related discipline
• Industry experience in a finance-related position
• Employment is contingent on working in the State of California, per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy

Preferred Qualifications

• A doctorate degree or equivalent
• Previous teaching experience
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and service

Pay

Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month. The salary is commensurate with education and experience, generally starting at or near the minimum of the appropriate range.
