Lecturer, part-time - The School of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach in the classroom, clinical sites, and simulated clinical learning activities in the simulation laboratory in collaboration with course faculty
• Assure that classroom course material is evidence-informed
• Serve on School, College, and University committees as elected or appointed
• Participate in School-wide planning initiatives to support SON Mission, vision, and goals

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Eligible for South Carolina RN License
• Experience in collaborative relationships between practice and academic organizations
• Experience teaching in higher education and working with diverse student populations
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Educator, Proficiency with emerging healthcare technologies and information systems

Salary and Start Date

Salary is $6,000 per course and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2025.
