Lecturer - Music (Pool)

Summary

The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Music from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. The position is responsible for teaching various courses for Music; however, exact courses taught will depend on need at the time of hire.

Work Location

Courses may be in person or online. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.

Salary/Pay Range

Salary/Pay Range: $1,300 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.

Benefits

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, or retirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
