Lecturer - Management (1-Year Appointment)
About the role
The Department of Management and Marketing in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a 9-month instructor position in Management for the academic year 2026-27.
The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business values university-level teaching experience, the ability to teach a variety of classes in the Management curriculum, engagement in institutional, community, and professional service, and experience working in the world of business.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Management.
- Mentor students and support student success initiatives.
- Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank.
- Perform institutional and community service.
- Contribute to ongoing program development within the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.
- Participate fully in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business’ AACSB accreditation efforts.
Requirements
- Doctorate/ABD status from an institution supporting an AACSB-accredited business school, or a Master’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Management, or a related business discipline plus 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
- Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.
Qualifications
- Doctorate/ABD status from an institution supporting an AACSB-accredited business school, or a Master’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Management, or a related business discipline plus 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
- Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.
Skills
Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, demonstrated integrity and strong leadership, and the willingness to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
