Lecturer - Innovation (Pool)
Summary
The College of Business at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Innovation from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. The position is responsible for teaching various courses for Innovation; however, exact courses taught will depend on need at the time of hire.

Courses may be in person or online. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
Salary/Pay Range
Salary/Pay Range: $3,900 per 3-credit hour course. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
Benefits
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Because this appointment is temporary in nature, you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided to faculty under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs. You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, or retirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in the field OR significant experience in the field that is outlined in a Letter of Expertise that is submitted to HR in lieu of transcripts.
