About the role

The University of Southern Indiana invites applications for part-time instructors to teach face-to-face and online introductory courses in World Languages and Cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Teach face-to-face and online introductory courses in World Languages and Cultures.
  • Develop and maintain course materials.
  • Assess student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of language acquisition theories and pedagogical techniques.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Language Acquisition (MASPC) or other related field.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching World Languages and Cultures at the college level.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
