Position Summary
The instructor will develop and teach LIS 855: Topics in Information Agency Management – Budgeting in an asynchronous online format, under the supervision of the Director of the iSchool. The role focuses on teaching graduate students and providing expertise in budgeting and resource stewardship for libraries and information agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as initial contact for students regarding course content and expectations
- Develop instructional design, curriculum, and course materials
- Facilitate online classroom instruction and assess student performance
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies or related field
- Experience in librarianship or information agencies, specifically in budgeting and resource management
- Experience working with local governments, boards, or funders is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate-level teaching experience
