About the Role
The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami seeks a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Musicology. The main campus is located in Coral Gables, a residential suburb of Miami. The Frost School of Music enrolls approximately 750 majors across 31 programs leading to B.A., B.M., B.S., AD, M.M., M.S., SPED, DMA, and PhD degrees, supported by around 85 full-time faculty, 45 part-time faculty, and 128 graduate teaching assistants.
The Frost School of Music has been an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music since 1939.
Qualifications
- Minimum master’s degree in Musicology or a related field
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong teaching skills in Musicology
- Strengthen students’ performance skills
Appointment
This is a part-time, intermittent (seasonal) faculty position at the rank of Part-Time Lecturer, effective August 12, 2027.
