Lecturer, Department of Educational Psychology

Position Summary

This position is for a Lecturer who will teach in our Undergraduate Behavioral Sciences program. We are seeking a dedicated professional to teach undergraduate courses within our child life program. This role focuses strictly on high-quality classroom instruction and student mentorship. The ideal candidate will bridge academic theory with real-world clinical practice, preparing students for child life internships and certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Human Development, Education, or related field.
• Certification: Active Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) credential.
• Ability to teach on-campus or online formats (synchronous or asynchronous).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Education, Special Education, Psychology or related field.
• 1–2 years of teaching or guest lecturing experience in higher education.
• Experience supervising child life practicum students or interns in a hospital setting.
