About the role

The Jack J. Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston is seeking qualified candidates for temporary, part-time Lecturer positions in various communication fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Advertising, Corporate Communication, Health Communication, Integrated Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Journalism-Print, Journalism-Broadcast, Media Production, Media Studies, and Public Relations.
• Work on a semester-by-semester basis based on student needs.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with professional experience preferred; a PhD is preferred.
• Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates.

Schedule

Lecturer appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, based on student need.
