About the role

Lecturer positions are available in various disciplines within the College of Fine Arts & Communication at UW-Stevens Point. These positions are open for future part-time or full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students related to specific course or series content and expectations.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline.

Qualifications

While there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point accepts applications regardless, to create a pool for future needs. Lecturers are hired on a per-course basis each semester, with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.
