About the role

The Changemaking Minor seeks a part-time instructor to teach Introduction to Changemaking (CHNG 100) for Fall 2026. This course introduces students to social and environmental issues and their solutions, focusing on innovative approaches and the journeys of changemakers.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Introduction to Changemaking (CHNG 100)
  • Engage students in discussions about social innovations and transformative change
  • Guide students through the process of social innovation and systemic change
  • Explore the motivations and methods of changemakers from diverse backgrounds

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Social Innovation or related field
  • Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong background in social studies and humanities

Benefits

Pay

The salary range is $2,581-$2,659, bi-weekly, commensurate with qualifications.
