About the role

Project LIFT, the South Carolina Faculty Pipeline program, is dedicated to developing doctoral students into nursing faculty at South Carolina universities. The fellowship provides socialization, mentoring, training in academic nursing, research and scholarship, teaching, and other professional service.

Responsibilities

• Work with assigned mentors—including principal investigators, co‑investigators, grant staff, and others—to assist with implementation of research studies and other educational scholarship.
• Collaborate with research team members to recruit and/or schedule participants, obtain informed consent, collect data, and facilitate data management.
• Organize research findings and provide administrative support, including preparing reports, professional presentations, and manuscripts.
• Execute the assigned teaching development plan, participating in faculty training programs, fellowship training, guest lectures, teaching assignments, and other teaching duties as assigned.
