Responsibilities
- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
- Determines guest needs and suggests menu items to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Prepares a variety of food and beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards.
- Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions; transports monies to and from the main Credit cage.
- Counts money in register before and after each shift and properly records closing transactions.
- Maintains cleanliness and supplies in side stations; cleans and wipes down workstation and utensils before and after each assignment.
- Stocks foods in their proper place in food storerooms and rotates stock as necessary.
- Cleans and sanitizes working/kitchen areas in outlets, both behind the line and in dining area.
- Sells non-food merchandise and maintains display.
- Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
- Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.
- Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience a plus.
- Ability to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency and literacy in English required.
- Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
