Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to employees considering a leave and support them while on a leave.
- Keep managers informed of an employee’s leave status and facilitate their return to work.
- Collaborate with third-party leave administrators (such as UNUM) to manage leaves.
- Track leaves due to on-the-job illnesses or injuries for OSHA compliance.
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly, calculate workers' compensation and short-term disability offsets, and monitor employees' return to work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum three years’ experience in the administration of leaves of absence.
- Experience using HRIS systems and time-keeping systems, such as Workday and UKG.
- Experience implementing leave management software.
- Experience handling large volumes of leaves (greater than 100 ongoing continuous leaves).
- Experience working in healthcare/hospitals preferred.
- Additional experience in benefits, employee relations, compensation, or other HR areas desirable.
- Prior PHR/SPHR and/or SHR - CP/SCP certification is a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $73,320.00 - $109,990.00. The actual salary offered will depend on years of relevant experience and internal equity.
