Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
- Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.
- ESL endorsement is preferred.

Pay
District 62 substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if they hold a substitute license. Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked.
